Chase's girlfriend had a birthday recently and he asked me to make her a card. She loves elephants, so I borrowed A Little Wild and the matching framelits from my upline Betty. Then I had Chase look on Pinterest to find a card he liked. He found one from Mary F but he wanted different colors. So I started sending him pictures as I made it, giving him choices. Here's the final card and a coordinating envelope, followed by pictures of the process.
Her favorite colors are purple and blue, so he picked out Perfect Plum and Tempting Turquoise. I did samples both way so he could decide which he liked better:
He picked Plum for the card base and Turquoise for the frame:
He decided he wanted the "wild about you" greeting on the front. When I stamped it I got a stray mark of ink, so I covered it up with Enamel Shapes:
Then I found some "Happy Birthday" stamps that fit under the elephant for the inside:
Here's the finished inside:
And the back:
It was fun making this with Chase's help! And his girlfriend loved the card!
