Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards #2

Here's the second group of cards I made with the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack and coordinating Cards & Envelopes for our May Stamp Share swap.

The next two cards have 3 x 4" cards that I trimmed to 3" squares and layered with Basic Black card stock and another 3 x 4" card cut in half to make the layer.

Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards #1

My Dad gave us a good scare a few weeks ago. He ended up in the hospital and is now the proud owner of a pacemaker! He's doing great now, but it's been pretty crazy around here with taking Mom to see him in the hospital, and doctor appointments and home health care visits since he's been home. So when the May Stamp Share snuck up on me, I didn't have a lot of time to make swaps. Luckily Betty had given me a pack of Hand-Penned Memories & More cards for my sales in April and I had ordered the matching Cards & Envelopes. They made some great cards very quickly! There are a lot, so I'll break them up into small groups and share them for a few days. Here's the first group:

For the next two cards, I added a layer of Basic Black card stock

The flower/enjoy piece was originally 3 x 4". I trimmed it to a 3" square.

The layered pattern piece was a 3 x 4" card. I cut it in half.

Art In Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder Biggest Wish

For my second card for the Stamp Share For Leaders swap, I used a fun hybrid embossing folder. What the heck is that? It's an embossing folder that is designed to use with a die, at the same time! It's so cool!

Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder: 1 folder + 9 dies!

The die in the top left corner of three flowers is what fits inside the embossing folder so you can cut and emboss the flowers at the same time!

One product, many uses. Use just the dies in the Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder to cut images. Or use just the embossing folder to emboss cardstock. Or use them together to cut AND emboss at the same time! The delicate floral imagery looks beautiful on so many projects—handmade cards, scrapbook pages, and more. Try embossing a card front, then adding die-cut flowers in a different color for effortless coordination.

* 1 embossing folder: 4-1/2" x 6-1/4"
* 9 dies: Largest die, 3-1/2" x 4"
* Use with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine

Dies create unique die-cut shapes and paper cut outs with just a quick run through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

Embossing folders add depth and dimension to cardstock Just place flat cardstock in the embossing folder, run it through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, and out comes cardstock with a textured design.

Colors: Basic White, Evening Evergreen, Melon Mambo, Polished Pink, Soft Succulent
I embossed and cut the flowers from Polished Pink, then added them on top of an embossed background in Soft Succulent.
I really like the big words in Biggest Wish!

Peekaboo Farm Give It A Whirl

The Stamp Share For Leaders group just did another swap with new stamp sets from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. We all made two different cards, 21 of each. For my first card, I used the adorable Peekaboo Farm set and the Give It A Whirl dies. These were so much fun to make!

Colors: Basic Black, Basic White, Balmy Blue, Cinnamon Cider, Gray Granite, Smokey Slate
I LOVE these dies! There are different shapes for the window and you can place them wherever you want. They all have a small circle to help you line up with the center of the wheel that turns. I have three of the greetings on mine: hello there, miss you, and sending hugs.
