USE IT UP Enduring Beauty Split Card Textures Dies

The two cards I'm sharing today are both made with die cut pieces I had cut with the Split Card Textures Dies (retired) and didn't use. Time to make them into cards!

Colors: Basic White, Crumb Cake, gold
I don't remember which die I used to cut the gold foil. The embellishments are Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls (retired).

Colors: Basic White, Balmy Blue, Smoky Slate, silver, Soft Sea Foam

Which color do you like better?

USE IT UP Sending Love Framed Florets

Today's card combines old and new- really new to me since this was the first time I've used this stamp set! It started with the Blushing Bride (retired) layer that I had already die-cut with Framed Florets Dies (retired) to get the oval-shaped hearts.

Colors: Basic Black, Basic White, Crumb Cake, Pretty In Pink, Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Smoky Slate

I cut the greeting apart and added a retired red dot. It's not Real Red, but it looks OK.

USE IT UP One Of A Kind Whimsical Woodland Twinkling Lights

This card was made with several things I found in my pieces and parts! It started with the blue layer that was embossed with the Whimsical Woodland Embossing Folder (retired), the die cut snowflake from Twinkling Lights Dies (retired), and a piece of Galvanized Metallic Specialty Paper (retired). Some sequins from a past Paper Pumpkin kit finished it off.

Colors: Basic White, Balmy Blue, Boho Blue
The One Of A Kind stamp set and dies are on the Last Chance List- get them before they're gone!

USE IT UP Joy To You Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder

Last week I shared some Paper Pumpkin cards I made. I started with a kit that made 9 cards and ended up with 18 cards by cutting the printed card bases in half. I made 9 of the cards using the supplies from the kit, which left me with 9 more cards to make how I wanted. I started going through my pieces and parts that I've cut and/or stamped for other projects but ended up not using. I found what I needed to make the extra 9 cards, and ended up making more cards with some of the other pieces I found!

I had three of these Garden Green pieces die-cut with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder (retired). I decided they needed to be Christmas cards, so I dug out my Joy To You stamp set (retired). This greeting fit perfectly! Then I added some Cherry Cobbler Berries.

Colors: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Soft Sea Foam

BONUS Cards From The March 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit Memorable Meadow

Yesterday I shared the cards I made using the Paper Pumpkin kit from March 2024, "Memorable Meadows". It came with printed card bases that had the design on the front and back of the card. I decided to cut them all in half, so I ended up with 18 printed layers that I attached to Gorgeous Grape card bases. I made 9 of the cards using the supplies from the kit, which left me with 9 more cards to make how I wanted. I started going through my pieces and parts that I've cut and/or stamped for other projects but ended up not using. I found all the pieces that I had cut from the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder when I tried it for the first time. Here's what they look like:

The hybrid embossing folder comes with the usual plastic embossing folder, but also a steel die that is designed to use in the folder or on it's own.

I ran it through with a piece of Basic White cardstock - this is what it looks like after running it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.

Here are the individual pieces still in the folder after taking the background piece out. When I decided to use these on my cards, I put them back in the folder and added Balmy Blue ink to the other side of the folder and ran it through again. This gives the pieces some color and makes them easier to read!

I used a sponge dauber to add more ink to this one

The celebrate one moved in the folder and got messed up, but I found this piece already stamped in my stash and used it instead!

Aren't they cool? I really liked how they came out. And going through my pieces and parts gave me lots of inspiration to make more cards! In addition to these 18, I also made 15 more! Not all during the time it took the foot peel obviously, but working off and on for a couple of  days. And I've got ideas for more! I'll be sharing them all soon.

Colors: Basic White, Balmy Blue, Gorgeous Grape

Paper Pumpkin March 2024 "Memorable Meadow"

Do you ever have days where you want to stamp, but you just don't know what to stamp? I've had a lot of days like that lately. I just have no inspiration. Well last Thursday John was working and I had all the laundry and dishes caught up, so I decided to do a foot peel mask. It stays on for 60-90 minutes. I can't just sit there and do nothing, but I didn't feel like watching TV or reading. I wanted to stamp! But what did I want to make? I didn't need to work on any swaps or card kits, so I decided to just STAMP FOR FUN! It's been awhile since I've done that! So I grabbed my oldest Paper Pumpkin kit, which was from March 2024, "Memorable Meadow".
I HAD SO MUCH FUN!

Let me show you the cards I made, since I switched things up a bit:

All of the card bases had the printed images for the front and back of the cards. That was a bonus in disguise! I decided to cut them in half, which gave me 18 printed layers instead of 9 bases! I put them all on Gorgeous Grape bases. So these were the 9 cards using all of the supplies in the kit. I did mix them up a bit because I wanted to see more of the printed designs.

I still had 9 printed layers to make more cards! I'll share them tomorrow, so come back and check them out!
