Life has gotten a little crazy lately with the remodeling projects we're doing to get ready for my parents to move in with us and getting ready for my niece's wedding. I haven't had time to stamp lately, so I don't have any projects to share right now. I'm going to take a few days (or weeks?) off from blogging to catch up and get pictures of all my retired stuff I want to sell. You can check out the full list on the Retired Stampin' Up! For Sale tab. I'll be adding the pictures to my Facebook page soon. Let me know if there is anything you are interested in. And if you would like to place an order, you can always email, call or text me, or order online. Happy Stamping!

A Wish For Everything Well Said Graduation
What a weird year for seniors! I feel bad that they missed out on so much of their last year of high school. The son of our next door neighbors at our old house graduated so I made him a card. We missed his party with all the house projects we have going on, but hopefully he liked getting a card in the mail!
(sorry about the weird shadow- I took this picture at night)
Colors: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White
I used my retired Large Numbers dies. The hat is a 1" square of Basic Black card stock, and then I cut a long narrow strip, rounded one end, and cut strips almost up to that end to make the tassel. It's attached with a glue dot.

Geared Up Garage Sympathy
One of Chase's coworkers recently lost her dad, so he asked me to make a sympathy card with an orange muscle car on it.
Colors: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Silver, Smoky Slate, Whisper White
I also used a piece of retired Classic Garage Designer Series Paper.
The whole die cut of the gears was too big next to the car, so I cut one off and put it on the inside. Perfect solution!

Nothing's Better Than Indulgence Kind Of Day
This was the first card I made with the Nothing's Better Than bundle when I was trying to come up with a design for a swap card. I started by stamping the outlines in Early Espresso, then chose the colors for the solid images. Soft Suede for the chocolates, Crumb Cake for the cookies. Fruity drinks are usually bright colors, so I chose Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Magenta Madness. I liked those colors together so I used them for the card base and layers. I like the card, but not enough to make 20 more of them for a swap. I kept the colors and came up with the card I shared yesterday, which I used for the swap. I think I need to make more cards with chocolate and cookies!
Colors: Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Magenta Madness, Soft Suede, Whisper White

Nothing's Better Than Cocktails Swap
This was my second card for the Stamp Share For Leaders New Catalog swap. I don't drink, but I loved this color combination that worked perfectly for the cocktail! I also like the partial embossing on the Magenta layer so there is texture but the words are still crisp. I colored Pearls with Stampin' Blends to match.
Colors: Basic Black, Bermuda Bay (Blends, because we don't have them in Coastal Cabana!), Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Magenta Madness, Whisper White

Pampered Pets Cat Swap
The Stamp Share For Leaders group that I belong to just did another new catalog swap. When I looked at the catalog for the first time, I fell in love with the Playful Pets Suite and new it would be the first thing I ordered! I am a dog lover, but I don't care for cats since I am allergic to them. So I decided to use the cat sheets of Designer Series Paper for my swap since I wouldn't use them for my own cards. I really like how they turned out though!
The Old World Embossing Folder kind of looks like cat hair!
There are several different cats on the Designer Series Paper, so they're all a little different:
Colors: Basic Black, Cinnamon Cider, Early Espresso, Flirty Flamingo, Real Red, Soft Suede, Whisper White
The dies match several images in the paper. The rest are fussy cut with snips.
