Card Challenge!

Yesterday I did my 1st ever Card Challenge and thought I'd share the results. I belong to a group called SUDSOL- "Simply Unique Demonstrators Sharing On Line". Everyone is a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and they are so willing to share information and ideas- it's a great group to be part of! They also do Challenges where someone will post a sketch or an idea and then whoever wants to particiapte comes up with a card or project. They usually don't fit into my schedule, but yesterday I was home by myself and had time so I decided to try it!

This is the sketch that was provided:

You can use any stamp set, Designer Series Paper, embellishments, and colors you want, as long as the layout is similar to the sketch.

This is the card that I came up with:

What do you think? I like the way it turned out! I might have to make sure I get to do more of these! If you decide to make a card using the sketch, send me a picture and I'll add it to this post!

Stamping Tip of the Week

Stamping Tip of the Week:

If you stamp something and part of it doesn’t show up, you can probably “draw” in the missing part with a marker.

Stamping Tip of the Week

Stamping Tip of the Week:

If you mount a stamp crooked, put it in the microwave for about 5 seconds. It should loosen the glue just enough for you to peel off the rubber and reposition it. Just don’t leave it in there too long!

Happy Stamping!

Stamping Tip of the Week

Make a copy of the sticker sheet that comes with each stamp set. This way you’ll know what stamps you have, what stamps are in each set, and how they fit in their box.
