Designer Tin Of Cards Project Kit

We finally have our tax stuff done and John took it to our accountant on Friday. Yay! I spent most of the weekend, in between cooking, baking, dishes, and laundry, going through our files to pull out anything we don't need any more and doing LOTS of shredding! It's such a good feeling to have it all done, but I'm behind on my stamping! So this week I'll be sharing the cards from the Designer Tin of Cards Project Kit. This is such a fun kit to put together. Whether you are a new or experienced stamper, this is a great kit for having cards on hand, and an exclusive tin to keep them in!

Here's the first design:

The card in the top left corner is like the picture shown in the directions for the kit, the others are slight variations in placement of the tag. That's what is fun about these kits- you can move things around however you like!

I found the Mini Glue Dots to be too big for the smaller sequins, so I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhere them. I didn't think they were going to hold at first, but I found if I put them on and set them aside for a few minutes they were stuck!

Botanical Blooms Brushstroke Alphabet Tin of Cards Egg Carton Project

Our second Make & Take for this month's Stamp Share was done by the awesomely artistic Brenda. Check this out:

This project was shared in the latest Stampin' Success, the quarterly magazine that Stampin' Up! publishes for demonstrators. Brenda changed up a few things from the original, but the basics are the same.

The mini egg cartons are so popular, they are sold out until approximately March 20th when Stampin' Up! expects their next shipment.

Colors: Blushing Bride, Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Soft Sky

Non-Stampin' Up! items: clay (to hold pussy willows), candle, mini eggs, mini wreath, moss, plastic toothpick, pussy willows

It didn't take us very long to make these- probably the longest thing was waiting for the stamps and ink to be passed around to everyone. The moss made quite the mess but was pretty easy to clean up. Such a cute project!
