Use It Up Designer Series Paper & Punches

Still trying to use up all of the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper! For these cards I used various punches and greetings with the same basic layout:

Real Red- stamp from Everyday Occasions Card Kit, 1 1/4" Circle and 7/8" Scallop Circle punches

Pumpkin Pie- A Dozen Thoughts, 1 3/8" Square Punch (retired)
(the triangles are just the squares cut in half)

Pumpkin Pie- A Dozen Thoughts, Curly Label Punch

Daffodil Delight- A Dozen Thoughts, 1 3/8" Square Punch (retired)

Daffodil Delight- A Dozen Thoughts, 1 3/8" Square Punch (retired)
(the triangles are just the squares cut in half)

Old Olive- Hip Notes, Artisan Label Punch

Old Olive- Big News, Scallop Oval Punch
Of course I didn't notice until I took the picture that I forgot to flip half of the pieces over!

Marina Mist- stamp from Everyday Occasions Card Kit, Modern Label and 7/8" Scallop Circle punches

Marina Mist- stamp from Everyday Occasions Card Kit, Postage Stamp Punch

Rich Razzleberry- Paper Pumpkin "Hello To You", 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch

It's really fun to see how the different punches look with this layout!

All of the cards (except the Marina Mist Modern Label which has a retired Glimmer Brad) have a Candy Dot and Brad Base for the center.

I have one last card with this paper to share with you tomorrow!

Use It Up Window Frame Sketched Birthday Another Thank You

After I made all of the cards I shared yesterday, I had all of the pieces I cut out left. They were too cute to just throw away, so I had to come up with a way to use them!

Stamp: Sketched Birthday

Colors: Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White

Accessories: Polka Dot Parade retired Designer Series Paper, Window Frame Framelits, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Stampin' Write Markers

That card has a lot of color! I wasn't sure if I wanted to make a lot of them, so I decided to make something different with the rest:

These little notes are 2 3/4" square- I like this size because I can get 6 of them out a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11" card stock. I used the Another Thank You stamp set and white embossing powder for the greeting. I always give my customers a little thank you card with their orders, so that's what these will be used for!

I have more cards using up more of this Designer Series Paper to share with you tomorrow!

Stamp-A-Stack Window Frame Sketched Birthday Giggle Greetings

My last card for the July Stamp-A-Stack was actually a group of cards using the same layout but different colors.

Of course I didn't realize the red and orange cards were so close together until I was editing the picture. Sorry about that!

Here they are individually:

Real Red- Sketched Birthday with a greeting from the May Paper Pumpkin Kit "Hey Man"

Pumpkin Pie- Sketched Birthday with a greeting from the May Paper Pumpkin Kit "Hey Man"

Daffodil Delight- Giggle Greetings

Rich Razzleberry- Giggle Greetings

Marina Mist- Giggle Greetings

Old Olive- Giggle Greetings

All of these cards have retired Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper on them. I really wanted to use up what I had left and you could easily replace it with any one color DSP. I used the Window Frames Framelits to cut the opening in the front. The images care stamped with Staz On and colored with Stampin' Write Markers.

The next Stamp-A-Stack will be on Saturday August 16th. Sign up by the 13th so I can have everything ready for you!

Stamp-A-Stack Paper Pumpkin Pinwheel Party

The June Paper Pumpkin kit, Pinwheel Party, makes these cute pinwheels:

Here is my version:

And a cute package:

Or, you can change it up and make this cute card, which I found on Pinterest:

This was one of my cards for the July Stamp-A-Stack. I just cut up the DSP that is cut for making the pinwheels into triangles and then re-sized them to make the boat. The mast is a piece of a straw that I flattened with a bone folder. The flag is attached to the straw on the left and has a dimensional under the right end.

This kit is available as a refill (no stamps or ink) for Paper Pumpkin subscribers!

Paper Pumpkin March 2014 Glittered Greetings- Part 2

Here are the rest of the cards I made with the March Paper Pumpkin Kit "Glittered Greetings":

The other sample card

I colored the "Thank You" with Calypso Coral ink and then used my heat gun to dry it. The gold envelope liner was cut with the Banner Framelits. A lined envelope completes the card.

I used the  Banner Framelits to cut pieces of gold envelope liner, Island Indigo and Calypso Coral card stock. The little stars are punched with the new star from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

More Star Framelits and Star Punch

Watercolor Thank You stamp and Chevron Border Punch- I layered the gold pieces I punched out on top of a strip of Calypso Coral card stock rather than worrying about getting the spacing just right. So much easier!

Paper Pumpkin March 2014 Glittered Greetings- Part 1

We were so busy with all the Graduation festivities that I didn't have time to do much stamping. I completely forgot about my Paper Pumpkin kits! This is the March kit "Glittered Greetings". It came with all the supplies to make 8 cards, but I changed them up a little and ended up with 9 cards. Part 1 today and Part 2 tomorrow!

The sample card using the "Congrats"

Cut a card front in half the long way, layered with Calypso Coral punched with the Dotted Scalloped Ribbon Border punch. I used Gold Encore ink to color the "Congrats" and then embossed with clear powder. Gold star- envelope liner cut with Star Framelits.

I didn't think I needed 4 "Congrats" cards, so I decided to double up on this one. This is the other half of the card front I cut, layered on a piece of the gold envelope liner and Calypso Coral punched with the Scallop Edge Border Punch.

Starburst Sayings and Starburst Framelits on pieces of Calypso Coral and gold envelope liner cut with the Banner Framelits.

I'll be back tomorrow to share the rest of my cards! Don't forget today is the last day to sign up for the July Stamp-A-Stack, which is this Saturday!

Blendabilities Everyday Occasions Walk In The Wild Moose

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I get to order new products before they are available to customers (yay!). Recently we were able to order six colors of the new Blendabilites, plus the Skin Tone Assortment, Color Lifter and Memento Ink Pad- these are all available for everyone to order now! I played around with them a bit and shared this card with you. Then I tried the Skin Tone Assortment with my favorite moose:

His eye wasn't showing up, so I took a regular Basic Black marker and tried to draw it in again. I wish I wouldn't have done that because it shows up too much now. Oh well. I've had this sitting on my desk since then and decided it needed to be made into a card, so I came up with this:

Stamps: Walk In The Wild, Everyday Occasions (the card making kit set)

Colors: Coastal Cabana, Old Olive, Basic Black

Accessories: Blendabilities Markers

I love how it turned out! I did end coloring more to fill it in to the edges- it just didn't look right with the white showing.

Here's the information on Blendabilities that are now available:

And what I stamped on the inside:

I LOVE the new Age Awareness stamp set!

Happy Birthday Darla! Love ya Sistah!

Organizing: How I Store My Blendabilities Markers

The rest of my Blendabilities Markers just came yesterday! I was storing the first half of them in the little plastic cases they came in and then stacked them in a drawer on my desk. But some of them were hard to get out of the cases- they were packed in just right and wouldn't slide out. So I took them all out and just lined them up in the drawer. That worked, but they were all lose and it would only get worse once all the colors were in there. I looked online and on Pinterest to see what other people were doing with theirs. There were several options for storage to buy, but I didn't want to spend that much. There were even more options for ways to build or make your own, but I didn't want to do that. I wanted something now! Something that would keep them flat, that I would be able to see through, and would keep them all together if I wanted to pick it up and take it with me. Hmm...

Perfect! This is a Plano plastic organizer that John had for in a tackle box. It's about 9 x 14" and has 8 long narrow compartments. Here's what it looks like open with all the Blendabilities inside:

I love the view from the end:

Now all my Blendabilities are together in one box that I can see through, they're locked in so I can move them around, and hopefully having them in a sealed container will keep them from drying out. I don't think that will be a problem since the caps fit so tightly, but better safe than sorry! Best part- it didn't cost me a thing! Thanks John!

If you would like to order Blendabilities, here's the information:
