Paper Pumpkin October 2015 Blissful Bouquet & An Update On John

I was doing so good with staying caught up with my Paper Pumpkin kits, and then John had his accident. That was on October 14th, 5 months ago today! He's finally feeling better after having a procedure called "RF Rhizotomy", were they burn the nerves along the spine that are overreacting. They said it would take 2-3 weeks to feel relief, but could take up to 4-6 weeks. Luckily he felt better after 2 weeks and each day he has less pain and stiffness! He can almost touch his chin to his shoulder on both sides! Yay! His new truck is in and he should be picking it up this week. Then hopefully he'll be back on the road soon!

So now I'm working on getting caught up again! The October kit, "Blissful Bouquet" came shortly after the accident and has been patiently sitting on the shelf waiting for me to put it together. This was the special Breast Cancer Research Foundation fundraiser kit. Stampin' Up! donated $1 for every kit, plus an additional $1 for new subscribers that month. Here's an update from Stampin' Up!:

A HUGE shout out to all our Paper Pumpkin subscribers! Because of you, Stampin' Up! donated $36,378 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a world-class organization dedicated to ending breast cancer! Together, we truly make a difference. Thank you!

Here's what the kit looked like:

And the card I made with the extra printed paper from the kit. I didn't stamp the leaves on this one. I'm not sure which way I like better:

I'll be back tomorrow to show you how I made the full size cards!
