Last card from my recent in person class. We did some punching, so now it was time for some die-cutting and embossing!

Layering Leaves Frames & Flowers Fun Fold With A Twist

The second card from my recent in person class is a simple fun fold with a cool twist. If you've used punches before, you know they only reach so far. So how did I get the punched shape that far up on the Designer Series Paper?

I actually put the folded edge into the punch and then covered up the hole on the back part with the white layer inside. No one will ever know!

The card base is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", the Designer Series Paper is 3" x 10 1/2", and the white layer for the inside is 2 3/4" x 5". I was trying to get as many pieces out of the DSP as possible- they ended up a little weak since the sides of the punched area are so narrow. I wish I would have made them 3 1/2" or 3 3/4" wide so they would be more sturdy. But this way also showed more of the stamped images on the base.

Colors: Basic White, Lost Lagoon

Spotlight On Nature So Sincere Note Cards Stepped Up

I recently did an in person private class for new-to-me stampers that ranged from newbies to one lady who has stamped more than 20 years. Since we had some beginners, I started with the basics of stamps, ink, and paper and showed them how to step up a card. I used Very Vanilla Note Cards and Envelopes, which recently retired, but are still available in Whisper White.

First card- just stamps, ink, and paper

Second card- adding a layer of color

Third card- adding embellishments (linen thread and a pearl) and a raised sentiment

All three cards together, and a coordinating envelope

CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything) from Jackie B, but I changed the colors

Colors: Calypso Coral, Pebbled Path, Very Vanilla

Thanking You Country Lace Swap

The Stamp Share For Leaders group had another swap for new products from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. I signed up to make two designs (21 of each!) and this is my first one:

I did two versions to have enough Designer Series Paper for all of the cards

Colors: Basic White, Misty Moonlight, Petal Pink

I tried stamping again in Versamark ink and then embossed with clear powder. I like the way it looks, but decided it was too much work for that many cards!
