The second card from my recent in person class is a simple fun fold with a cool twist. If you've used punches before, you know they only reach so far. So how did I get the punched shape that far up on the Designer Series Paper?
I actually put the folded edge into the punch and then covered up the hole on the back part with the white layer inside. No one will ever know!
The card base is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", the Designer Series Paper is 3" x 10 1/2", and the white layer for the inside is 2 3/4" x 5". I was trying to get as many pieces out of the DSP as possible- they ended up a little weak since the sides of the punched area are so narrow. I wish I would have made them 3 1/2" or 3 3/4" wide so they would be more sturdy. But this way also showed more of the stamped images on the base.
