Paper Pumpkin September 2019 Bone Appetit

Happy Halloween! I have to share the September Paper Pumpkin kit "Bone Appetit" with you today since it's Halloween treat boxes. So cute, but since we don't get many trick-or-treaters anymore, I made one of each box and then gave the rest to my downline Amy for her kids.

Here are my two:

I love the dancing skeletons!

Stamp-A-Stack Gather Together Feels Like Frost 3-Panel Scenery Z-Fold

The third card from the October Stamp-A-Stack was designed by Rachel Tessman to show off the gorgeous Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper. I loved it so much I copied it pretty much exactly other than I didn't have the stamp set she used. Here it is closed (ignore the clear block I put on it to hold it closed!)

And here it is open (again, ignore the clear block!)

The Designer Series Paper is cut down to 5 1/4" tall, then cut to 2 3/4, 1 1/8, and 2 1/8". The 2 3/4" piece is attached on the left side to the top fold, which is at 1 1/2". The right side isn't attached to anything, so it covers up the rest of the card when it's closed but becomes part of the "picture" when it's open. The white piece on the right side is 1 3/4" wide.

Stamp-A-Stack Nature's Beauty Heirloom Frame Deer

I didn't order the Heirloom Frames Dies & 3D Embossing Folders right away when the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog started, but I wish I would have! By the time I was ready to order them, they were on backorder. Then they became unorderable, which happens when the number of backorders reaches 2000. When they finally were available again I ordered them right away! I'm so glad I did- I think I will be using them a lot! This is the first card I made with the rectangle set, and it was one of the cards for the October Stamp-A-Stack.

Colors: Early Espresso, Garden Green, Very Vanilla

I stamped the deer, then covered it with a post-it note that I stamped the deer on and cut our the sides, then stamped the trees so they would look they're behind the deer.

Stamp-A-Stack Pressed Petals Washi Tape Flower

Time to share the cards from the October Stamp-A-Stack! First up is an elegant card that has no stamping on it. I know that sounds weird, but this one is so cool it doesn't need any stamping on the front. You could add whatever message you need inside, though! This was CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything) from Sue C. She had a video for how to make this card and shared a great tip for removing some of the stickiness of the petals. She placed the petals around a clear block so just the tips were attached. The big part of the petal was hanging off. Then she flipped the block over and tapped the petals with an embossing buddy. The powder makes them not sticky, but the tips still will be when you remove them from the block. How cool is that?

Here's a close up of the flower. You can see that the petals are not sticking!

Butterfly Beauty In Orange & Black or Black & Orange

We used the Butterfly Beauty Dies for a card at the September Stamp-A-Stack, which you can read about HERE. Today I have two more similar cards to share. For these I used both dies- the background and the detail, but in opposite colors.

Good Morning Magnolia Love You To Pieces Perennial Birthday Wreath

I made another card with the Stamparatus Wreath Technique. I shared the first card I made with this technique HERE and showed the template my upline Betty gave us and the one I made. I've been doing some cleaning and found one of the other samples I made when I was making my template. I decided it was time to make it into a card!

Colors: Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink, Whisper White

Here are two different ways to line up the flower from Love You To Pieces to make a wreath. The one on the right is what I used to make the card above.
