I keep seeing the samplers other people are making and I've been thinking I should make one too! I bought a black 8 x 8 frame months ago but just never took the time to get started. A couple of weekends ago the weather was really crappy (snow!) so I decided I was going to stay inside and stamp. One of my projects was my first sampler for fall!
Colors: Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Mint Macaron, Pretty Peacock, Smoky Slate, Whisper White
I started by laying the stamps and elements I wanted to use on the frame
I made a map of the blocks on grid paper so I would know what sizes I needed
Double-checking that everything was going to fit. I did decide the pumpkin looked too small in the box on the top, so I swapped it for the leaf.
My final map with all the stamp sets, accessories, and colors used on the right. It made it much easier to write up this post and then I have all the info I need if I want to use for a special class project.
Now to plan samplers for other seasons and occasions!
