New Packaging For Dies
The Stampin' Up! Dies have new packaging!
And a new name!
They're still in a plastic envelope, but the inserts are now 5 x 7" or 6 x 6". The envelopes are slightly larger.
They've changed the adhesive that holds the dies to the insert, too! It's not as sticky.

Pictures From My NEW CATALOG Open House
THANK YOU to everyone who braved the thunderstorms Tuesday night and came to my New Catalog Open House! In case you missed it, I took some pictures just before everyone started arriving. Let me know if you need a catalog!
Stamps (almost 100 sets!), punches, tools, inks, embellishments, and some miscellaneous
Designer Series Paper, card stock, Darla's last ink caddy (now sold), catalogs, and cards
View from the other side- 8 very full boxes of cards!
New products- In Colors, Designer Series Paper samplers (everyone loved looking at them!), punches, and a few stamp sets
Display of cards using new products! Some I made, most are swaps
And the hit of the night was my Pink Lemonade Cookies!
Here's the recipe:
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar, plus additional for rolling
3/4 cup powdered lemonade mix (I used pink lemonade!)
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
1 lemon, juice of (I cheated and used the stuff in the plastic lemon!)
lemon zest (I didn't have any)
2 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
Preheat oven to 350°.
Cream butter, sugar, and lemonade mix.
Add egg, vanilla extract, lemon extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest and mix well.
Add flour and baking soda and mix.
I used a medium cookie scoop- roll dough into balls and roll in sugar, place on cookie sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes. I baked mine for 10, until they were just set and golden on the bottom, then left them on the cookie sheets for about 2 minutes before moving them to a cooling rack.
Makes 36 cookies.
Recipe from Country Time Lemonade
I bought a big canister of pink lemonade mix for John so he could take some in the truck and mix it whenever he wanted. There was a lot left, so I Googled "lemonade mix recipes" and found this one. They are so soft, mostly sweet but with a little tangy from the lemon flavors. I need buy a lemon and make them again with the juice and zest from it!

Bloom & Grow Budding Blooms Thanks
Yesterday I shared my first card for the Stamp Share For Leaders New Catalog Swap. Today I'm sharing my second card.
Colors: Basic Black, Mint Macaron, Petal Pink, Whisper White
This was my first version, using the tiny flowers die that cuts out three flowers. I added the dots for the centers with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. I liked the way this looked, but I was running out of time and wanted to get my swaps in the mail, so I went with the rhinestones instead.

Which do you like better?
