Do You Have Trouble With Your Clear Mount Stamps Staying On The Block?

Have you had trouble with your clear mount stamps sticking to the block? Another demonstrator had shared awhile ago that if you trim the labels before you put them on the stamps so some of the foam is still showing, they will stick to the blocks better. That works for new stamps, but what about the ones that were already assembled? I found out something that may help! I went to use a stamp set that I haven't looked at for awhile, and the labels were peeling up from the foam.

Huh, that's weird! See the left edge? I wondered if I could take the sticker off...

Yes! It came off completely!

So I was able to trim it...

...and stick it back on the stamp! See how the label is away from the edges now? It sticks to the block so much better!

After I redid that first stamp set, I went through all of my clear mount sets and redid them!

Here is all of the pieces I trimmed off! It took awhile, but they are all done and they work so much better!

I did have a few stamps where part of the stickiness was left behind. I just made sure I peeled them really slowly away from the stamp. They had enough sticky to re-adhere to the stamp after being trimmed.

PLEASE NOTE: This is for the clear mount stamps, not the new cling stamps!
