I love Enamel Shapes! They are so cute and easy to use! But they are a pain to store. I tried keeping them in their original packaging, but it's hard to open neatly and I ended up with a messy stack in a drawer:
But now they look like this:
So much better! All neat and organized, and easy to see!
Doesn't that look better?
Here is the case open- Brights in the top left, Regals in the bottom left, Subtles in the bottom right, and the Metallics and In Colors in the top right (I did have to trim them a bit to fit). Want to know how I made it? Let's get started!
7 x 8" piece of Thick Whisper White card stock.
On the 8" side (which is the top in the picture) score at 1/2, 1, 3 1/2, 4, and 4 1/2".
On the 7" side score at 3, 3 1/2, and 4"
Cut out the 1" squares in the centers
Here's the backside, just so you can see how I folded it
From the backside again. I used Tear & Tape inside the folds to hold them together. Here I have the long folds together.
And here it is with all of the folds together, which forms 4 compartments and an edge on the left side which goes towards the spine of the case to keep things from falling out when the case is opened.
The divider in the case. I did end up trimming 1/8" off to fit the width of the case, so technically the card stock was 7 7/8 x 7".
