Peaceful Pines Perfect Pines Framelits Snow Place Christmas

I found another Christmas card I forgot to share! Since it uses items that carried over into the Occasions Catalog I thought I would share it today.

Colors: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pacific Point, Real Red, Whisper White

It's kind of hard to see in the picture, but I made dots with my markers behind the tree so it would look like lights.

Don't forget the Product Extravaganza is next Saturday!

Snow Place Snow Friends Large Numbers Framelits Time To Chill Snowman

I'm so happy Snow Place and the matching Snow Friends Framelits carried over into the Occasions Catalog! They are so cute and I didn't get to play with them enough during the Holiday Catalog. I decided to use them for my swap card for our January Stamp Share.

Colors: Early Espresso, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Whisper White

The Designer Series Paper I used is retired, but I thought it looked kind of cool behind the snowman and the colors worked well. You could easily substitute other papers. I don't normally use Very Vanilla and Whisper White together, but it worked on this card.

Party Wishes It's My Party Cherry On Top Birthday Swaps

Yesterday was another Stamp Share For Leaders event.I love this group! They are awesome Stampin' Up! Demonstrators that share business and project ideas! Of course, there's always a swap! These are my cards. I ended up doing 2 different color combinations to go with the ribbons I used.

Colors: top card- Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Cucumber Crush, Pool Party, Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White
bottom card- Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Mint Macaron, Whisper White

The layer with the cake on it is up on Dimensionals. I had a hard time getting the ribbon to stick to the embossed layer, so I used Sticky Strip (it's retired, but the new Tear & Tape is even better!).

The Difference A Bone Folder Can Make

I'm working on some swaps for a stamping meeting this weekend, and thought I would share something with you. Do you have a Bone Folder? Do you use it? I have several and use them all the time. All. The. Time. For every card I make. Why? Let me show you...

This is 24 pieces of Melon Mambo card stock, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. I scored them with my Simply Scored Scoring Tool and folded them in half. That's how you make a card, right? But look at that wild pile of card bases. Not very organized, not the easiest to work with. Check out what happens when I use the Bone Folder on them:

Much more organized and makes it so easy to grab that pile and move it if needed! Just by running the Bone Folder over the folded edge of the card base, it smooths it out and gives it a much nicer crease. It took me less than a minute to do this to all 24, so it doesn't add much time. Ah, so much better!

Hello My Friend

Brr! Has it been cold here lately! The low on Sunday morning was -16 degrees and it didn't get above 0 all weekend. I did get some stamping done, but not as much as I wanted. I'm working on swaps for a meeting next weekend and had a hard time coming up with a design. I'll share it next week. Until then, here's a quick cheery card using some Sale-A-Bration items:
