I've really been slacking with my Paper Pumpkin kits lately! Things got busy with the holidays and I'd open them, oh and ah, and then set them aside because I didn't have time to make them. Now that I'm 4 four months behind, I figured I better get back to them! Here's the kit from October, "Sweet As Pie":
Cute! But since I didn't use them for Thanksgiving, I looked on Pinterest and found other ideas of how to use the kit. This is what I made:
This can be used all year! How fun would it be to get a small present or a gift card in a cute little box like this? I think the original instructions said to put the stamped sticker piece over the open edge of the box (on the bottom in the above picture) to hold it closed, but I wanted to still be able to open and close the box so I put mine on the other side (the top in the above picture). This was so easy and fun to make- the hardest part was getting the yarn untangled so I could make the pom pom! I think I started on the wrong end!
Anyway...rather than making all 8 of these and having them sit around, I've decided to give the others to the first 7 people to sign up for the February Stamp-A-Stack! It's on Saturday the 21st at 10 am- sign up by the 18th! If you can't make it, I can make the cards for you or put together a kit. We'll be making 10 cards (2 each of 5 designs) and I'll have everything ready for you to come and make the cards for only $20!
