SNEAK PEEK Wildflower Meadow Stamp Set and Embossing Folder

Here's another SNEAK PEEK of the Wildflower Meadow stamp and matching Embossing Folder. I made several versions, trying to decide on a design for a swap. Some also have a greeting from Banner Greetings, a new Hostess Set. Here we go...

I used markers directly on the stamp

Colors: Melon Mambo, Pistachio Pudding (NEW In Color), Whisper White

I stamped with Pistachio Pudding and then colored the flowers with a Melon Mambo Marker- very time consuming!

Also uses Papillon Potpourri, Bitty Butterfly and Elegant Butterfly punches

Colors: Wisteria Wonder, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White

I used markers directly on the stamp. This was the design I went with. I made 34 of this card but I really like how it turned out.

Stamp-A-Stack Word Play Elegant Lines

For the May Stamp-A-Stack, I decided we would make cards that use things from the Spring Catalog (which ends May 31st) and the Retiring List (good until June 3rd or while supplies last).

 

For the first card, I used the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, but I also had the Elegant Bouquet and Manhattan Flower folders out- all 3 are on the retiring list. I'm sad to see them go as I used to use them quite a bit, but haven't really used them in awhile. One thing I've found with these folders- they tend emboss very deeply and sometimes tear the card stock. If you use the Big Shot with no tabs (rather than Tab 1) that helps.

Celebrations Birthday Card...Again!

Prom & a Nursery Suite Baby Card

Chase and his girlfriend Rachel went to her Prom last weekend. They looked so cute I just had to share a picture:

 

 

And because this is a stamping blog, here's a card:

 

 

I shared it before (see this post) but hadn't decided how I was going to finish it. The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, stamped in Chocolate Chip on Whisper White and punched out with the Ticket Duo Builder Punch. The 1" So Saffron circle was a scrap of Designer Series Paper I found in my scrap box- I'm pretty sure it was from Just Add Cake, which retired last year. The Regal Rose layer is a sneak peek of a new punch that will be in the 2013-2014 Catalog! I can't wait to share the new catalog with you!

Stamp-A-Stack Delightful Dozen Chalkboard Easel Birthday Card

Card #4 from the April Stamp-A-Stack:

 

 

Stamp Set: Delightful Dozen, Woodgrain

 

Colors: Soft Suede, Basic Black, Whisper White

 

Accessories: Whisper White Craft Ink, Parker's Patterns Designer Series Paper, Petite Curly Label Punch (Sale-A-Bration and will be in the new 2013-14 Catalog), Paper Piercing Tool and Mat, Baker's Twine, Stampin' Sponge

 

This is a standard size (4 1/4 x 5 1/2") card. Start with a 4 1/4 x 11" piece of Basic Black card stock, fold in half, and use the Stampin' Trimmer to cut out the piece to create the legs. They are 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" long. Stamp the Woodgrain background stamp in Soft Suede on a piece of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" Soft Suede card stock. Cut 2 strips 1/2 x 5 1/2" and 2 strips 1/2 x 3 1/4" and attach them to the black card base to create the frame for the easel. Stamp the greeting in Whisper White craft ink- let dry. Then lightly tap a sponge in the White ink and then tap it on the black card stock. Lightly swirl the sponge to make it look like smeared chalk on a chalkboard. This is not my original idea- I have seen many of these shared on line so I'm not sure who actually came up with it. It's very cute, though!
