Do you ever buy a stamp set and then realize you haven't even inked it yet months later? That's what happened to me with Gone Fishing. I saw so many cool cards made with it and even used it for a Make & Take at one of our Stamp Shares. I had to order it, but haven't touched it since. So I decided to use it on my swaps for our March Stamp Share. I did use the now retired coordinating Designer Series Paper, but you could use another design or use the stamps to make your own. Or maybe you're like me and still have the retired paper!
The fish are fussy-cut from the paper. Some of them face right, others left.
There are different kinds of fish, too
I had a bunch of the ovals cut from another project- I thought they looked like a plaque that you would mount a trophy fish on. That's how these cards started. I also used one of the Unbounded Love Dies for the rectangle to show a current die.
A fun variety of different fish!
And some of the insides
I stamped (in Boho Blue and Old Olive), colored (with a Calypso Coral Watercolor Pencil), and die-cut the fish. The DSP is Woven Textures (Online). I added Linen Thread tied around the fold of the card for all the swaps after I took the picture, as well as on this card.
