Paper Pumpkin January 2021 Sending Hearts

The January 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit was called "Sending Hearts". It made 8 love themed cards with coordinating envelopes. I made this kit and sent the cards out for Valentine's Day.

I made them a little different by using some other stamps:

"Happy Valentine's Day" heart from Heartfelt

This cute little snail stamp came with the kit and coordinates with the Snailed It bundle in the January-June Mini Catalog

A Wish For Everything Bunny Butts Easter

Easter is coming up quickly! I don't normally make Easter cards, but I saw a really cute card made by another demonstrator (Cindy D) with a great idea. Look at my card below and see if you can figure out how I made the ears:

It's the Daisy Punch! It has eight petals so I cut each flower into quarters. Then I used the Double Oval Punch cut in half for the body. 

I ended up making four cards in different colors:

Paper Pumpkin June 2020 Box Of Sunshine

I haven't shared a Paper Pumpkin kit for awhile! This is the June 2020 "Box Of Sunshine" kit. It made eight cards and there were extra embellishments to decorate the box. The idea was to decorate and fill it with things that were yellow, so you could send someone a box of sunshine.

As soon as I received my box, I knew who I was going to send it to. A good friend had just been diagnosed with cancer for the second time, so I made one of the cards, decorated the box, and went shopping for yellow things to fill it. He loves my banana bread so I made a loaf of that to go with it, too. It didn't all fit in the box, but that's OK! Here's what it looked like:

He said he loved it and was really touched that I thought of him. That made me happy! It really is better to give than to receive! But I'm also happy to report that his treatment is going well!

Handsomely Suited For Chase's Birthday

Our son Chase turned 25 last week. He asked for a birthday lunch with us and his grandparents, so John made a roast, I made his favorite cheesey potatoes (double batch so there would be leftovers!), and there was a Cold Stone Creamery birthday cake. My parents and John's mom joined us and it was a nice afternoon. This is the card I made for him:
