Stamp-A-Stack Winter Frost Festive Flurry Frosted Finishes Nugget Tin

Last project from the December Stamp-A-Stack...a Nugget Tin:

These would have looked even better with all silver wrapped nuggets, but I bought a large variety bag of them which had more gold than silver.

Stamp-A-Stack Christmas Tagables Pop 'n Cuts Gift Card Holder

Sort of a card...a gift card holder!

 

 

 

Stamps: Christmas Tagables (Photopolymer)

 

Colors: Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White

 

Accessories: Snow Festival Designer Series Paper (from last year's Holiday catalog), Card Base Pop 'n Cuts Die, Word Window, Artisan Label and 1 1/4" Circle punches, Sticky Strip, Dimensionals

 

This was CASE'd from Connie and Mary. Their directions say to score the Pop 'n Cuts Card Base at 1 1/4, 4, 5 1/2, 7, and 9 3/4. Use a gift card as a guide for how wide you need to make the opening with the Word Window Punch. Line the punch up so you're punching half a window, slide it over and punch again, repeat until the opening is wide enough for the gift card (I punched 3 times). The DSP on the front is 2 x 4, the white on the inside is 2 1/2 x 4. There are 2 Dimensionals under the flap with the slits to make it easier to tuck the tabs into the slits to hold it closed.

Stamp-A-Stack Tags 4 You Chevron Border Punch

Saturday was the December Stamp-A-Stack, but we didn't do just cards. Check back each day this week to what we did make!

 

First up, in case you haven't made all of your Christmas cards yet, is this cute card, CASE'd from a card shown in Stampin' Success, the Stampin' Up! magazine for demonstrators.

It took a few tries to get the Chevron Border Punch lined and not punching off the top or bottom of the card. I made the second version with only 5 chevrons punched, which was much easier to do. I have an idea of how to fix the ones I practiced on, so I'll share those after I finish them.

Black And White Split Embossed Walk In The Wild Moose Part 2!

After making the embossed moose cards that I shared yesterday, I had to make some cards to use up the other halves of each moose!

Black And White Split Embossed Walk In The Wild Moose, Clearance Rack Blitz

My awesome upline Betty gave us a color challenge at last month's Stamp Share. We were to make a black and white card. The first thing I thought of was split embossing, where one half is black on white and the other is white on black. This is the card I made:

 

 

My white embossing powder is "Winter White" so it looks more vanilla. It looked funny on the card, so I ended up making a new black piece where I stamped with white Craft Ink and embossed with clear powder. I wish I had real white powder so it would have looked better. I used the first black piece to make a black and vanilla card, which I like much better!

I started this card awhile ago but wasn't sure how to finish it. So this week when I had a few minutes to stamp I got it out again. The background is kind of busy so I went plain for the focal point.
