Stamp Set: Pretty Petites (Sale-A-Bration)

Colors: Real Red, Basic Gray, Whisper White

Accessories: Houndstooth Embossing Folder, Full Heart, Petite Curly Label (Sale-A-Bration) and 1/2" Circle punches, Soda Pop Tops, Dimensionals, metal sheets (non-SU!)

The Pop Top was flattened in the Big Shot. Just set it open side down in between two cutting plates and put them on the Multi-Purpose Platform with no tabs. Run it through and you'll have a cute flattened Pop Top!

The metal sheets I used were some that I bought a few years ago. Unfortunately they are not from Stampin' Up! (one of the few non-SU! things I have!). I did make a similar card using roof flashing for the Houndstooth embosssed layer and that worked as well so it's an option if you like the look. I have a roll (about 6" wide) that John bought for me at a home improvement store.

Stamp-A-Stack Bold Snowflake In Silver

I CASE'd this card, but the picture I saved is so small I can't read the watermark, other than the initials YM. Whoever you are, thank you! I love this card!

 

I stamped the snowflake in Versamark ink on the card base before attaching the layers. The ribbon is around the layers so the ends are hidden. The embossed snowflake is attached with dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Leadership Swap- Hearts A Flutter

Yesterday I shared the card I made for the SUDSOL swap at Leadership. Today I'm sharing the card I made for the Stamp Share For Leaders swap. SSFL is a group of mostly Minnesota Stampin' Up!Demonstrators. To be part of the group, you need to have the title of Senior Supervisor or above. A Senior supervisor has at least three people in their downline. The group gets together several times each year to share business building ideas and project samples, and to swap!

 

This is the card I designed for the SSFL swap. I did half of them in Real Red and the other half in Primrose Petals. I couldn't decide which I liked better!

Stampin' Up! Leadership Swap- Vintage Verses

One of my favorite things about Stampin' Up! Leadership is the swaps! I signed up for two organized swaps with two groups, SUDSOL and Stamp Share For Leaders. The quality of the swaps is fantastic! I get such great ideas from these groups!

This is the card front I designed for the SUDSOL (Simply Unique Demonstrators Sharing On Line) swap. I did three different color variations because of the buttons in the Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack.

I put the Designer Series Paper in the Honeycomb Embossing Folder and ran it through the Big Shot with Tab 1. The extra pressure almost cut the paper, so it made it very easy to follow the lines and cut out the hexagons. I had planned on putting more of them on each card, but after making 39 cards and not having much time, this was what I ended up with.

Leadership 2013 Was AWESOME!

I just got back from Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Conference in Orlando! I love going to Leadership- it's a much smaller, more intimate group (1500 Demonstrators) than Convention (4000+ Demonstrators!) and focused on how to grow and maintain your business. One last thing to share:

 

 

John and Chase came to Orlando with me and went Bass fishing on Friday. You can tell by Chase's smile that it was a good day! In 4 hours they caught over 30 fish!
