Love, Live & Share It Today by Stampin’ Up! CentreStage @ OnStage Orlando!

Here's a fun video of Stampin' Up!'s 30th Anniversary Song!

This was shared at OnStage in Orlando November 7-10. It was so much fun!

We flew to Orlando Wednesday morning and arrived mid afternoon. As soon as we got our rental car, we drove to the condo we rented to check in and drop off our luggage. Then we drove to the Convention Center and checked in for OnStage. I got on a bus to Epcot for CentreStage and the rest of the girls went to eat, get groceries, and hang out at the condo until I was done. CentreStage is for Demonstrators who have achieved the title of Silver Elite and up. Stampin' Up! paid for us to get into Epcot for the afternoon/evening, provided buses to get there and back, and had a reception for us to end the evening.

This was in the World Pavilion, which is through a gate and off to the side of Epcot by Canada. I've been there a few times and never knew it was there. They did karaoke and had lots of desserts.

Fireball Donuts- a glazed donut with extra sugar, cooked in a pan with Fireball whiskey and another type of liquor (couldn't read the label) to caramelize it, then served with homemade vanilla ice cream. It was good, but very sweet. One bite was enough for me!

Cling Stamps by Stampin’ Up!

At the OnStage event last week, Stampin' Up! cofounder Shelli Gardner introduced and demonstrated the new red rubber stamping solution: cling stamps. Watch this video and read on for more information!

Cling stamps were first introduced in Japan beginning with their 2018-2019 annual catalog. The new stamp line has been a smashing success. We are excited to offer cling stamps in all other markets beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure. During the transition, be sure to view product details carefully both in publications (each stamp type is identified with an icon) and when placing orders to note the stamp medium.
·   Beginning with the 2019 occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure, all new stamp sets will be available either in cling (for red rubber stamps) or photopolymer.
·   Stamps in the 2018-2019 annual catalog will continue to be available in clear-mount, wood-mount, or photopolymer.
·   Red rubber stamp sets (clear-mount or wood-mount) in the annual catalog that will be carrying over will transition to cling with the 2019-2020 annual catalog.
·   In 2019-2020 annual catalog, clear-mount and wood-mount stamps* will no longer be available. The only exception is background stamps in North America only, which will still be available in wood-mount.
*Wood-mount stamp set sales have been steadily declining for several years. Stampin’ Up! research and sales teams took this and several other factors into consideration before discontinuing wood-mount stamps. We are confident the transition to cling stamps will be beneficial in many ways for demonstrators, customers, and the company.

Labeling cling stamps is a slightly different process than you may be used to. It is important to follow the steps below to assemble cling stamps. Each cling stamp case will also include labeling instructions.
Note: Once you place the label on the stamp, it is adhered permanently. Attempting to remove or adjust the label will damage the stamp’s foam.
·   Remove the paper backing from the label.
·   Remove your selected stamp from the rubber sheet and remove the paper backing from the stamp.
·   Line up the foam side of the stamp with the image label, then press it evenly to adhere it to the label. Make sure it is correctly positioned before you adhere it to the stamp.
·   Remove the stamp and its newly-affixed image label from the label sheet.
·   Place the stamp on an acrylic block to begin stamping.

Best Practices
To remove the stamp from the block, grasp securely near the image label and remove slowly. (Cling stamps stick so well that if they are not carefully removed from the block, the foam can tear.) To clean the labels, simply rinse under running water. Avoid alcohol-based cleaners.

October Display Boards

My display boards at the Building for the month of October. I should have shared this earlier since there are Halloween swaps on the top row! The rest of the cards are made with sets we used for the October Stamp-A-Stack.

I changed up my "Information Board" a little too.

September Display Board

I forgot to share my Display Board from September. These were all the cards from our Stamp Share swap that month, plus a couple extras to fill it in!

I love getting all these ideas every month! We have a very talented group of stampers!

Cards For Soldiers Donation

I donated a box of cards, handmade notebooks, and pens to Cards For Soldiers recently.

There were about 150 cards and envelopes in all.

Lots of them were swaps that I have received so there was a lot of variety!

If you have cards you would like to donate, look for "Cards For Soldiers" on Facebook!

Beautiful You For Sharon

This was the last card for Sharon's Red Hat Ladies. They loved it!

Colors: Basic Black, Gorgeous Grape, Real Red, Whisper White

For my sample, I used both scribble stamps to fill in the dress. Neither one filled it in quite right, so this was a combination of the two and a marker to fill in the rest.

Lift Me Up & Away For Sharon

My friend Sharon asked me to help her come up with cards for her Red Hat Ladies group to make. We went through all of her current stamps and she decided she wanted to use the Lift Me Up set and Up & Away Thinlits. We came up with this one:

Colors: Basic Black, Call Me Clover, Pacific Point, Real Red, Soft Sky, Whisper White

This is a great card for using up scraps! It's a bit of die cutting, but so cute when it all comes together!
