Healing Hugs For A Friend

I found out recently that a good friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. I decided to make her a card, but was having trouble deciding where I wanted to put the greeting. So I took pictures of it in several different places and asked a few people for their opinions.

1 - on the bottom

2 - slightly up from the bottom

3 - centered

4 - towards the top

Which do you like best?

Here's the final card:

I fussy cut each of the roses so they would be on top of the leaves.

Stamp-A-Stack Love What You Do Share What You Love Card Purse & Note Cards

Normally at a Stamp-A-Stack, we make 10 cards, two each of five designs. But I had a special request from my customers to recreate a cute card purse they gave me as a gift recently. It is made with a sheet of 12x12 Designer Series Paper and we made four matching note cards to go inside.

Here's my template, and the little piece I used to line up the corner to make the accordion fold for the center/bottom of the purse

Hopefully that makes sense so you can recreate this cute little card purse!

Stamp-A-Stack Sheltering Tree With The Stamparatus

To keep the Fall/Tree theme going for the Stamp-A-Stack, we also made this card:

Colors: Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla

The Stamparatus made it so easy to stamp the tree on the 4 x 5 1/4" Very Vanilla layer, then place the 1 1/4" x 4 1/4" Very Vanilla strip over the tree and stamp it again. Perfect placement every time! The Early Espresso strip is 1 1/2 x 4 1/2".

Stamp-A-Stack Lovely As A Tree Itty Bitty Greetings

Yesterday I shared how I converted my Wood-Mount Lovely As A Tree stamp set to a Clear-Mount set. I was so excited that I finally got that done, I decided we needed to use the set at the September Stamp-A-Stack! Here's the card we made:

Colors: Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White

This was a quick, easy card that looks harder than it is. It seems like I rarely make any cards without a Big Shot, but I really liked how the simple tearing made this card look good. It didn't need anything else. You could easily change the change the colors and greeting for different occasions.
