Stamp-A-Stack Set Up @ The Building

I actually had everything set up and ready before everyone came to the July Stamp-A-Stack! Usually I'm running around getting the last few things on the tables as everyone is coming in. I decided to take some pictures to show you how I have things set up.

When you walk in the front door, this is what you see.

Here's the view from the other side of the room with the front door on the far side. The door on the right is the bathroom. There is another group of four tables to the right with chairs.

This is the view from the kitchen.

I have each card set up at it's own table. The stamps, blocks, ink pads, punches/dies, and adhesives are spread out around the plastic tote that has all the supplies in it. I make up packets, so my attendees can just grab a packet and have everything they need inside. My samples are in cute little holders so they don't get lost.

The orange things on the tables are collapsible bins for garbage. They have the Paper Pumpkin logo on them.

The cabinet area in the corner is where I have the Big Shot set up. I have items on display and try to change the cards each month. All of my stuff that stays at the Building is kept in the cabinets/drawers.

I hope you'll join us sometime for a class!

Stamp-A-Stack Lilypad Lake Lakeside Framelits Sunset

Today's card is the fourth one from the July Stamp-A-Stack. It was CASE'd from a swap my sideline (we have the same upline) Kim did for a recent Stamp Share. She did a lot of sponging for the sky, but I wanted something quicker and easier so it wouldn't take too long so I used a stamp from the set.

The crane and plants are attached inside the front:

Colors: Basic Black, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Pacific Point, Whisper White

I used glue dots ob the bottoms of the plants and the feet of the crane to attach them to the card base.

Stamp-A-Stack Happy Birthday & Thank You Thinlits With Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets

These were the third card at the July Stamp-A-Stack. I decided to do one with the new Thank You thinlit and one with the Happy Birthday thinlit that was new last year. Hopefully you'll be able to see the detail of the Subtle Embossing Folder. You have to see it in person! It looks just like textured card stock! These are CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything!) from a swap I received from Cathy S.

Here's a closer look to show the embossing folder:

Colors: Mint Macaron and Soft Suede

The Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets make it so easy to attach this thin die cuts!
Here's how I used them for these cards:

1. Cut Soft Suede layer to 3 1/4 x 3 3/4"
2. Cut Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to 3 x 3 1/2" (the sheets are 6 x 12")
3. Peel the lettered backing off the adhesive sheet and attach it to the Soft Suede layer
4. Place the die on the top of the Soft Suede layer so the adhesive sheet is underneath, run through the Big Shot
5. Separate the die cut and the layer piece- remove any small pieces that are stuck
6. Peel the backing from the adhesive sheet under the Soft Suede layer and attach it to the card base
7. Layer the Designer Series Paper (3 x 3 1/2") on the Soft Suede layer
8. Peel the backing from the adhesive sheet under the die cut piece and attach it on top of the Designer Series Paper

So much easier than trying to put adhesive on the skinny parts of the die cut!

Stamp-A-Stack Little Elephant Builder

This week I'll be sharing the cards from the July Stamp-A-Stack! First up is one of my favorite new bundles, Little Elephant.

Not sure what happened with my pictures, but apparently the colors are off. These are both on Thick Whisper White card bases and the elephants are both Basic Gray.

Here's a close up of the Tufted Embossing Folder. Love it!

Colors: Basic Gray, Grapefruit Grove, Mint Macaron, Whisper White

Make sure you hide your adhesive behind the punched elephant so it doesn't show through the vellum!

You might think baby cards when you see these, but they can be for any occasion!
