When I saw the Waterside Retreat Suite Collection in the May-August Catalog, I knew I would be ordering it right away! Growing up in central Minnesota surrounded by lakes has made me a nature lover. My grandparents house was on a lake and that's where I caught my first fish- a little Sunny. We had a cabin up north for a few years and created lots of amazing memories there. John's parents had a house on the Mississippi River for many years. We even have a large pond on our property now.
And then Stampin' Up! said that the April Paper Pumpkin kit, Lakeside Retreat, would coordinate with that suite. Woohoo! I did those cards almost immediately, which you probably know doesn't happen very often. Then I combined parts from the kit with the suite and went a little crazy. I'll be sharing all of my projects with you, but be patient, it will take awhile!
Let's start with the Paper Pumpkin kit cards, pretty much as they were designed:
I love the stamps that came in the kit, too. You'll notice that I used them quite a bit on my other projects as I share them.
There were no extra kits and the refills sold out fast, so if you weren't lucky enough to get one, I'm really sorry! But they were very similar to the products in the catalog. Hopefully they are available for a long time. Make sure you order them!
