Stampin' Up! Layered Thoughts Charming Day Thank You

Sometimes a beautiful piece of patterned paper can do most of the work for you! For this card, that I made awhile ago, I started with a strip of patterned paper from Everyday Happiness DSP (which just retired) that has a mix of soft textures and colors. It creates a lovely background and adds interest without needing a lot of extra stamping.

To make the sentiment the focal point, I stamped THANK from Layered Thoughts on an oval shape from the Foiled Frames & Labels Ephemera Pack. This helps the greeting stand out against the patterned background and ties the colors of the card together.

To add a little extra dimension and softness, I tucked in some die-cut leaves and a layered flower from Charming Day Dies (on sale on the Last Chance List!) behind the sentiment. These elements frame the greeting nicely and give the card a bit of depth while keeping the overall design balanced.

The finishing touch is the small stamped “you” in the corner, which completes the sentiment and adds a subtle detail to the lower part of the card.

This design is a great reminder that you don’t always need a lot of stamping to create a beautiful handmade card. With some patterned paper, a bold sentiment, and a few die-cut accents, you can quickly put together a card that’s perfect for sending a heartfelt thank you.
