Stampin’ Up! Aspen Grove Card with Embossing on Dark Cardstock

Card #5 from my Aspen Grove display was one of my swaps for the Stamp Share For Leaders group. I shared it HERE. 

Card #6 was one I received from the Stamp Share For Leaders group swap. Kelly S. made it. She combined the Aspen Grove stamp set with the Peaceful Dock bundle and a saying from Prayers & Promises.

On to Card #7!


For this Aspen Grove card, I embossed the images on dark cardstock, creating a striking contrast. This technique is perfect when you want dramatic results with minimal effort. Just be careful so you don't stick your thumb in the embossing powder before you heat it like I did! Can you find my booboo?


Colors: Basic Black, Basic White
