John and I went to Las Vegas last week! I qualified for BackStage, which is Stampin' Up!'s Leadership event. To be able to attend, you have to have a title of Silver Elite or above, which means you are maintaining a level of sales and have a certain number of team members. They shared an interesting fact in one of the classes I attended there- we have over 56,000 demonstrators and only 931 are Silver Elite! The higher levels (Gold, Gold Elite, Platinum, and Platinum Elite) are even smaller numbers! I am so honored to be Silver Elite, thanks to my amazing customers and team members!
My goodies from BackStage, including the January-April Mini Catalog! You're going to love it when it goes live January 6th! We all got a bag, matching lanyard for our nametags, notebook, and pens when we checked in. The last night of the event at the Farewell Party there was a Hat Making Bar where we got to pick out a hat and choose from different strips of fabric, lace, and leather and then add feathers, playing cards (Vegas!), and matchsticks, and then add a brand or two. It's kind of hard to see in the picture, but I have the SU! logo on the brim and the one on the back is a pawprint!
We drove out to the Hoover Dam on Monday. I've never been there and didn't realize it was that close to Vegas. We did the basic tour and got to see inside the dam. It was really cool standing on the side and looking at the top and then the bottom.
We saw the Wizard Of Oz at the Sphere, too! The special effects were amazing!

The view on the other side of the hotel, showing the mountains. I was in a hurry to take this as we were waiting for the elevator, so I cut off the pool. But that round roof area is the Veranda where we ate lunch outside. It was in the mid to upper 70s every day we were there. Perfect!
I have been to so many new places and had so much fun thanks to Stampin' Up! And the people I have met along the way have been amazing! I am so glad I decided to sign up for the discount over 24 years ago!
