Yesterday I shared the cards I made using the Paper Pumpkin kit from March 2024, "Memorable Meadows". It came with printed card bases that had the design on the front and back of the card. I decided to cut them all in half, so I ended up with 18 printed layers that I attached to Gorgeous Grape card bases. I made 9 of the cards using the supplies from the kit, which left me with 9 more cards to make how I wanted. I started going through my pieces and parts that I've cut and/or stamped for other projects but ended up not using. I found all the pieces that I had cut from the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder when I tried it for the first time. Here's what they look like:
The hybrid embossing folder comes with the usual plastic embossing folder, but also a steel die that is designed to use in the folder or on it's own.
I ran it through with a piece of Basic White cardstock - this is what it looks like after running it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.
Here are the individual pieces still in the folder after taking the background piece out. When I decided to use these on my cards, I put them back in the folder and added Balmy Blue ink to the other side of the folder and ran it through again. This gives the pieces some color and makes them easier to read!
I used a sponge dauber to add more ink to this one
The celebrate one moved in the folder and got messed up, but I found this piece already stamped in my stash and used it instead!
Aren't they cool? I really liked how they came out. And going through my pieces and parts gave me lots of inspiration to make more cards! In addition to these 18, I also made 15 more! Not all during the time it took the foot peel obviously, but working off and on for a couple of days. And I've got ideas for more! I'll be sharing them all soon.
