I just had an awesome
stamping weekend! On Saturday I drove to Alexandria with my downline Amy and Sandy for an event
that Shannon West, who works at Stampin' Up!' in Utah as a Demonstrator
Manager, organized for us. This was for Demonstrators in MN, but not in the
twin city metro area since that's where Stampin' Up! usually holds events.
There was lots of sharing about projects, classes, and business stuff.
Shannon
had called me and asked if I would present something, so I made a display of
ways to cut Designer Series Paper and had samples of each (I'll be sharing them later this month). I was really nervous
getting up to talk in front of everyone (there was about 60 people there) but I
did it and didn't screw up!
After lunch we did a shoebox swap. We made our
sample and then had all the supplies for 9 cards in a box. We set them up so
there was a box at each end of a table and then we went around the room and
picked 9 cards to make. It was so much fun stamping and meeting new
friends!
This is the card I made for the shoebox swap. It's CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything) from another demonstrator named Robin.
