Soft Seedlings - For Card Club & Stamp Share!

I used the Soft Seedlings stamp set for my October Card Club. What is Card Club? I'm glad you asked! I pick a stamp set or bundle each month and design 3 cards using it. Members of my club get all the supplies needed to make those cards, along with $20 worth of Stampin' Up! supplies. If you pick up your club packet, the cost is $30. If I mail the packet to you, the cost is $40. Packets will be mailed in a Priority Padded Flat Rate Envelope. After you've been a member of my Card Club for 6 months, you'll get an exclusive swag bag filled with Stampin Up! products worth $25! Contact me if you would like to join!

So for October, everyone got the Soft Seedling stamp set and the supplies for 6 cards (2 each of 3 designs). This was one of the cards, which I CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything) from Mary K.

If you would like the tutorials for my three cards, order the Soft Seedlings stamp set in my Online Store and I'll email them to you for FREE!

Colors: Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla
Mary did all the stamping on a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11" cardstock, then cut it to get five pieces. After trying it and seeing how quickly I could make multiple cards, I made enough for our October Stamp Share swap, too!

My first sheet

I used the splatter stamp from Color & Contour on my 2nd and 3rd sheets

These are cut to 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"

The Soft Suede layer is cut to 3 5/8 x 4 7/8". Very little waste!

At Stamp Share, Debbie shared with us that she cut her leaf stamp apart. So I came home and cut mine, too!

I can still use it as one image, but I think I'll use it more this way!

So then I had to recreate my card with the cut stamp. I did the splatters in Crumb Cake since I didn't use the seed stamp to fill in between the leaves.

The top is the original card, the bottom is the new one with the cut image.
Which do you prefer?
Do you ever cut your stamps apart?
Don't forget, if you would like the tutorials for my three cards, order the Soft Seedlings stamp set in my Online Store and I'll email them to you for FREE!
