Alphabest Celebrate Everything Halloween Swap

I was scrolling through Facebook recently and saw a really cute Halloween card made by Rachael M. She used the pumpkin and ghost Designer Series Paper from Celebrate Everything, which is a Host item in the July-December Mini Catalog. She colored the pumpkins with Stampin' Blends which really changed the look of the paper! I CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything!) her card with a few little changes for my card for our September Stamp Share swap. She used a different DSP for the large layer, different ribbon, and a stamped greeting. I cut the pumpkin and ghost sheets into 4x12 columns, then cut two 5 1/4" long pieces for my layers and used a Deckled Rectangle Die to cut out the center. I flipped the "frame" over for the yellow striped background as shown. Quick and easy layout to get six cards from one sheet of DSP!

Colors: Basic Black, Basic White, Daffodil Delight, Parakeet Party, Pumpkin Pie
I don't have any current Halloween stamps (I don't normally make many Halloween cards), so using the alphabet to spell out "BOO" was my best option. I really like the way it turned out! The punched pieces are just the right size.
I used the dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend to color in a few more stars.

After cutting my DSP layers, I was left with pieces that were 1 1/2 x 4. I cut them in half and added them to the inside of the card.
