Backstage New Orleans Pictures! Sneak Peek of World Card Making Day Event!

This post got a little long, but keep reading to the end for information about a FUN online event and how you can get a pack of FREE embellishments!

Backstage in New Orleans was awesome! This was a Leadership Training, so to attend you have to have a certain title with Stampin' Up!, based on how many people are on your team and your sales. At one time I heard there are 50 some thousand demonstrators and about 1500 were at this level, so about 3%. It's an honor to be part of this group and to hang out with so many talented stampers! Just over 500 people from the US, Canada, Europe, and the South Pacific attended Backstage. There was so much information and now I have so many ideas to work on!

Waiting for the Opening General Session to start

Check out the tote they gave us- perfect for swapping!

Betty & me (on the left)- we checked in early and no one else was around, so we had John take a quick picture!

The final night party! Stampin' Up! made arrangements for a parade- closing the streets, bringing in 2 bands, dancers and jesters, then we found out WE were the parade! They gave us all umbrella, boas, masks, and beads as we came in. One of the bands starting walking around the room and everyone lined up to follow them through the hotel and outside (so fun watching all the people we passed!), where we walked around a few blocks of the French Quarter before returning for the rest of the party, including New Orleans style hors d'oeuvres.

Beignets (pronounced ben-yay) at Cafe Du Monde - YUM!

and at Cafe Beignet. They are so darn good!

We were there for a week, which got a little long, but it was a fun trip!

If you would like to experience a Stampin' Up! event there are several ways you can! Become a Demonstrator (it's only $99!) and you could join us at OnStage in November! This is open to all Demonstrators and there are several locations you can choose from to attend. Or you can watch it online shortly after the live events! Let me know if you would like more information!

If you're not quite ready to join Stampin' Up! as a Demonstrator but still want to be part of all the excitement, you can join us for a FREE virtual event on World Card Making Day!
