I decided to try a new fun fold card the other day. It's a Pinwheel card! And when it's flat, it will fit in a regular envelope.
I used the new Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper that is in the Sale-A-Bration brochure:
Stamp Set: Penguin Place
Accessories: Penguin Builder Punch, Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper
The card base is 4 1/4 x 5 3/4", scored at 3/4, 1 1/2, 2 1/4, and 3". Fold on all the score lines, put adhesive on the end section and attach it to the large part to make the center square and one of the sides of the pinwheel. Then cut three pieces that are 2 3/4 x 4 1/4" and attach one to each of the sides of the center square. That makes the pinwheel- then just decorate as desired! I used pieces of DSP that are 2 3/4 x 4 1/4 and 1 1/2 x 4 1/4" (the small sides are actually 2" wide, but I already had some strips cut and wanted to use them).
Cute! I've been looking for a card for Case On the 5th as I'm focusing on Penguin Place this month. Might try this one. If I do, I'll be sure to link to your blog. Creative BLessings!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly! Glad you like my card!
