We had our monthly Stamp
Share in person last week and it was so much fun! It was good to see
everyone again. We have a great group of ladies and I've missed them! We
talked about some business things like the retiring list and the new
catalog, shared ideas and project tips, did some make & takes, and had our
swap. This is the card I made for our swap:
...and the inside:
I used the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper, which is sold out now. There were six different butterflies in the paper that coordinated with the dies, so I made six versions. I added Wink of Stella to the butterflies after I took these pictures.
Here they are all together:
Here's how I made them:
I started with two 4" squares of Basic White card stock. I cut the first one in half so there would be 1/4" on the short sides.
Same for the second square, but with 3/4" on the short sides
Each card used one of each of those pieces cut from the 4" squares. I stamped on the bottom piece, then embossed both pieces.
I paperclipped them upside down to a piece of paper that was 4 x 5 1/4"
I adhered a 2 x 6" piece of the Designer Series Paper upside down to the lined up pieces
Flipped right side up, the DSP is longer than needed, so I cut it down to line up with the card stock. I used those pieces on the inside of the card.
Ready to attach to the card base!
