I didn't get a chance to play with the Detailed Hearts Die before Valentine's Day, but I really wish I would have! I got it out the other day to try this idea and really liked how it turned out! Now I have lots of ideas for cards using it. Hopefully it will make it into the next Annual Catalog so I can use it for next Valentine's Day!
I forgot to take a picture before I cut it, but imagine the first picture as a quarter sheet of Whisper White card stock with lines I added with Stampin' Blends markers. Then this would be the second picture, showing the card stock cut with the Detailed Hearts Die. Now it all makes sense, right? :)
I used the outline of the hearts to help me place the hearts that were cut out in the same spots...
...so they look like this when I take the outline away. A rainbow of floating hearts!
And the outline makes a cool image too! Two for one!

The Detailed Hearts Die comes in a bundle with the Heart To Heart stamp set. Even though I didn't use the set for these cards, I included it on the list.
