The Stamp Share For Leaders group that I belong to always does a swap just before a new catalog starts. One of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is being able to order new products about a month before they go live for customers so we can start working with them. And doing a swap is a great way to get LOTS of samples with those new products! Here's one of the cards I made, using the adorable Little Ladybug stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. This is a set for hosts with parties of $300 or more, but you can also get it if you place an order of that size.
I did two versions so I would have enough Designer Series Paper. I made 46 of these!
I did one with the bugs cut out with the coordinating dies (available to purchase now!), but decided I didn't want to die cut 92 bugs!
So they all got stamped on small pieces of Whisper White...
and colored with Stampin' Blends. I tried one with pink bodies but knew I wouldn't have time to get them all colored and in the mail before the deadline.
My tip for the Baker's Twine- I cut all the pieces and then put small pieces of masking tape (I have a roll that is 1/4" wide) on the stamp case so I could quickly get them attached to the back of the Designer Series Paper.
Colors: Basic Black, Flirty Flamingo, Real Red, Smoky Slate, Whisper White
This card could be used for a Valentine, but it doesn't have to be just for Valentine's!
