Thanks to everyone who
stopped to say hi at the ROCORI
Craft Sale on Saturday! It was a good day- pretty busy and I
sold lots of cards! WOOHOO!
Speaking of cards, I took seven boxes of them to the sale on Saturday. I sold
enough to condense to six boxes to bring home. Still WAY too many! So
I decided to send some to Cards
For Soldiers.
I ended up with enough for
two very full boxes! This is the inside of one box- they're
in categories to make it easier for the people unpacking the boxes to organize
them on their end. And there was room for about 20 cards on top to fill the
boxes. There are 241 cards in that box, 272 in the second, for a total of 513
cards!
Two boxes taped up and ready to
go! One box weighs 9 pounds, the other 10 1/2- that's almost 20 pounds of
cards and envelopes! So glad they're going to a great cause! If you would like
to know more about Cards For Soldiers, they have a page on Facebook and a
blog: www.greetingcardsforsoldiers.blogspot.com.
I didn't make all of these cards, but I did a lot of swaps with other demonstrators.
