Every once in awhile I go through my scrap box and find pieces and parts of cards I've worked with but set aside because they weren't what I wanted at the time. Last weekend I realized I had pieces in my scrap box, in a little tray I keep on my stamping desk, in a drawer with some recently retired ribbon and embellishments, and in a plastic shoebox with some older retired things I want to use. So much for being organized! So I spread them all out on my desk and have been making cards with them! I still have lots to use, but I'm making progress!
This image almost became a project for a Stamp-A-Stack this spring, but I decided it would be too much coloring to make multiples of it. I had the card base with the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper on it but nothing else, and decided to put them together.
Stamp Set: Birthday Statements (retired, from 2019 Occasions Catalog)
Accessories: Gingham Gala DSP (retired, from 2019 Occasions Catalog)
Colors: Basic Black, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Mint Macaron, Petal Pink, Whisper White
I used all the light Blends for each color.
