Pleasant Pheasants No Line Watercoloring

I made a card for John for our Anniversary using the Pleasant Pheasants stamp set. You can see it HERE. I also tried the technique called No Line Watercoloring since I had all the supplies out. If you haven't heard of this technique, you stamp your image in a light color, like Sahara Sand, so when you color it, you don't have a dark border like you would if you stamped in black, like I did on the card for John. Check it out:

Colors: Basic Black, Bronze, Cajun Craze, Call Me Clover, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Night of Navy, Real Red, Whisper White

This wasn't the best stamp for this technique, as the detail of the birds was lost when I colored them. I ended up taking my Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker to add the feathers on the male pheasant. That helped, but I wouldn't want to have to do that too many times!
