Our son Chase turned 22 last week. He's always been in to magic, wizards and knights, so of course I had to buy the Magical Day Bundle and make his card with it! I found a really cute card that looks like a castle and has a drawbridge that opens on Pinterest, so I followed the directions from Susan L. and made my own version. It's customized for Chase!
The front of the card
Open up the side flaps...
...and lower the draw bridge!
Colors: Basic Black, Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Emerald Envy, Lemon Lime Twist, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Smoky Slate, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White
Chase's favorite color is green, so I used several shades. His girlfriend has dark hair and loves purple. And the pony he had when he was growing up was black with a blaze and two hind socks.
Did you notice I turned the unicorn into a horse?
I covered the horn with Washi Tape,
inked up the stamp,
took the Washi Tape off and stamped- no horn!
Used the framelit to cut it out,
then trimmed off the horn.
Jazzy and Chase!
