The third card for the August Stamp-A-Stack was this fun easel card:
Berry Burst
Tangerine Tango
Here they are sort of flat
Colors: Berry Burst, Crumb Cake, Kraft, Tangerine Tango
Here's how it's made:
Standard card base- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4" and fold. Open up again, cut at 1 1/2" down to the fold. Flip over and repeat for the other side. Then score the middle piece in half (2 1/8").
Fold the side flaps down and adhere
Fold the center flap in half
I added a layer of Crumb Cake in between the adhered flaps- 2 1/2 x 4 1/4"
Attach Designer Series Paper to the side flaps
The Designer Series Paper (DSP) that goes on the top of the center flap is 2 x 4"- it needs to be cut in half so it's not covering the fold on the flap. Make sure your design lines up when you adhere it!
Top piece of DSP on the center flap
Bottom piece of DSP on the center flap
Add a small piece (3/4 x 2") of the DSP on the card base to hold the center flap open. Then attach the die cut focal piece. Make sure you only put adhesive on the bottom of it so the top can stick up when the easel is open!
