I've been sharing the information about getting the Carols of Christmas stamp set FREE when you buy a Starter Kit in July. Today I'd like to share the first card I made with this stamp set. Wait a minute...how did I get this stamp set without buying a new Starter Kit? That's one of the perks of being a demonstrator! This set and matching framelits, which will be in the 2017 Holiday Catalog, are going to be an early release for the month of August! Everyone will be able to buy them! But demonstrators get to order them the month before so we can start making samples to share! Woohoo!
My first thought when I saw the framelits was a woods scene. There is a stamp of the deer, but I wanted one going each way so I used the framelit to cut out two of them. The trees and moon and stars were cut with framelits. The "Peace on Earth" needed a little something, so I added two half circles punched with a 1" Circle Punch (I was using up small scraps of Chocolate Chip from a previous project).
