The Stamp Share For Leaders group had their New Catalog Pizza Party Wednesday night. I sent my cards in by mail, so I haven't gotten them back yet. I can't wait to see them because they are always awesome! We make 2 cards, 40 of each, so we end up with 80 different cards! Here's my first card:
Colors: Basic Black and Lemon Lime Twist
I am so glad Stampin' Up! is bringing back Adhesive Sheets! They make it so easy to attach dies cuts like this that are too skinny for SNAIL or Fast Fuse and too big for the Fine Tip Glue Pen which tends to dry before you can get the whole thing ready. I still had some of my old ones, so I used them for my swaps. I started by cutting 3 x 4" pieces to put on the Lemon Lime Twist layer:
Then I ran them through the Big Shot with the adhesive side up:
The other side looks like this:
The die cut piece pops right out and is ready to adhere:
But first, here's that layer attached to the Basic Black card base- bonus! No additional adhesive required!
When you attach the next layer, no one can tell that you cut out of it!
(sorry for the weird color- it really is black!)
I also tried this design in Basic Gray:
It would be great in any color combination! So quick and easy!
