I wish I would have done the October 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit "Season Of Gratitude" last fall when I got it! These are some cute Shaker Cards! Of course I had to make them all a little different! Check them out!
My first card, following the directions. Shown with the matching lined envelopes, which I stamped the cute little acorn on.
I decided to tie the Baker's Twine around the layer rather than the banner
For this one I decided to cut down the layer. Because I tried to cut it with a die cut like the one below and it moved when it went through the Big Shot! Oops! But it's not a mistake, it's a Creative Opportunity! :)
A properly die cut layer
I ran out of the card bases after making my alternates but still had a layer left to make a shaker, so I used an Old Olive card base. The Happy Birthday stamp is from another Paper Pumpkin kit.
My tip for making Shaker Cards: make individual shakers instead of one long one. This way there's some sequins in each section. Looks better than one long shaker and all the sequins go to one end when you shake it!
Check back tomorrow to see what I did with the other card bases!
