Use It Up- Homemade Notebooks

Today's projects have no stamping on them, but I thought I would share them with you anyway! John saved some letterhead that was leftover after his parents sold their business in 2005. I've had it in a box taking up space in my office and finally decided to do something with it! I cut off the bottom half that had no printing on it and made 2 notebooks out of it.

The covers are scrap cardboard covered in Designer Series Paper- retired Winter Frost for the first notebook. I have a binding machine and used it to punch the holes on the side and used a 1/2" coil to put it all together.

The inside cover and the first page- the letterhead was a light gray.

The second notebook, with retired This & That Epic Day Designer Series Paper.

The notebooks are 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. After cutting off the printing that was on the top of each page, I was left with a pile of 3 1/2 x 8 1/2 pieces. I decided to bind them too and make a notepad for grocery lists! I used a 3/4" coil since the pile was thicker than the notebooks. There's a piece of plain scrap cardboard in the back.

Here's all three of my notebooks together. They will be way more fun to use than just old letterhead!
