Last week I shared the cards I made with the May 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit Many Manly Occasions according to the directions and some different versions. I didn't use the orange corrugated pieces for the different ones, so I came up with some other ways to use them:
The negative of the "HAPPY" stickers on top of a piece of Crushed Curry card stock, layered on a piece of retired Designer Series Paper, layered on the orange piece and on a Pool Party card base. On the inside I stamped "Birthday to you" with the new Birthday Bright stamp set.
A strip of that same retired Designer Series Paper with the negative part of the "HAPPY" fussy cut on it, a banner of Crushed Curry punched with the Banner Triple Punch, layered on the orange piece and on a Pool Party card base.
In trying to figure out how to use these pieces, I went through some pieces and parts of other kits that I have saved. The letters spelling out "Birthday" were from leftover from the Hello Life Project Kit. I think this is my favorite of these cards- it looks like a marquee!
Quick and easy- just add the stickers! On the inside I stamped "Birthday to you" with the new Birthday Bright stamp set.
I knew I didn't need 8 manly birthday or Father's Day cards. I'm glad I came up with other ideas for the card parts. This was a fun kit!
