I changed things up a little with my March 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit "Pocketful of Cheer". Instead of putting the standard size cards with the standard size envelopes that have a pocket inside for a gift card, I put the small cards with those envelopes. Here's what they look like:

...the bottom folds up and tucks under the decorated strip...
...and the top flap goes down and also tucks under the strip. Then I added a fun swirly paper clip to hold it together. The instructions said to use the decorated flower strip and banner as stickers to seal the envelope, but I put them on a strip of Whisper White card stock and only attached one end so it can be opened without tearing anything.
My finished gift envelopes. They could be folded either way, so I made 2 of each.
