I finally did some stamping! Our Stamp Share is tonight and I'm doing a make & take as well as taking part in the swap. Of course I can't share them yet, but check back to see them soon! I had a few pieces and parts from other projects and decided to use them to make some cards. Remember this Chevron Punch card from the December Stamp-A-Stack? This is what I made out of the card bases where I didn't get the punch lined up quite right:
Stamps: Banner Blast
Colors: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Champagne
Accessories: Glimmer Paper, Expressions Thinlets (from the Holiday Catalog- no longer available), Chevron Border and Banner punches, Baker's Twine
The border on the sides is made with two pieces of card stock punched with the Chevron Border Punch and then "woven" together. Very easy to do and a great fix when what you wanted punched isn't lined up quite right! Another example of "there are no mistakes in stamping, just creative opportunities!"
