Masking Tape Moose

The Masking Tape or Painter's Tape technique seems to be really popular right now, so I decided that we needed to try one for the Stamp-A-Stack. I was looking around on Stampin' Connection (the website for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators) and saw a card made by Kellie P. that I really liked. This is my slightly different version:

Stamp Set: Walk In The Wild

Colors: Soft Sky, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White

Accessories: Linen Thread, masking tape

The background is made by pushing the sticky side of a piece of masking tape on the ink pad to pick up the ink, then putting the tape on the card stock and rubbing over it with your finger. Pull the tape off and the ink is there with the texture of the tape. Very cool! Easy to do, but can be slightly messy if you get your fingers in the ink! The tape can be used over and over again.
