We really don't do much for Halloween since Chase is too old for trick-or-treating and we never had any trick-or-treaters at the farm. Last year, after moving to town, was the first year we had some. Click here to see what I made them- I LOVED the Googly Ghouls stamp set from last year's Holiday Catalog! So cute!
Anyway, I decided I would buy 1 Halloween stamp set from this year's Holiday Catalog so I could use it for a Stamp-A-Stack. I thought the Halloween Happiness single stamp was cute so that's what i bought. Here are two slightly different versions:
Stamp Set: Halloween Happiness (Holiday Catalog)
Colors: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Garden Green, Whisper White
Accessories: Witches Brew Designer Series Paper, Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder
For the top card, I colored the stamp with markers and then stamped it. I left the image as it was and layered it on the Garden Green with a piece of the Witches Brew DSP below it.
For the bottom card, I stamped the image in Pumpkin Pie ink, colored the stems and vines with a Garden Green marker and cut off the words before I layered it on the Garden Green. Then I trimmed the words, snipped the ends, layered it on a strip of Basic Black and snipped those ends. By cutting off the words, you could use an alternate greeting, too.
Did you notice the stripes? I did one each way to show the different look you get just by turning the embossed piece over.
