USE IT UP Picture Perfect Wanted To Say Birthday

The pieces of leftover retired Picture Perfect Designer Series Paper are getting smaller! I had so much using it to make these birthday cards!

I thought these squares with the balloons (from the retired Balloon Bouquet Punch) on top kind of look like a present! Iridescent Pastel Gems add some bling!

Colors: Basic Black, Basic White, Berry Burst, Peach Pie

Opaque Faceted Gems (retired)

Colors: Basic Black, Basic White, Peach Pie

Opaque Faceted Gems (retired)

Colors: Basic White, Pool Party

I had enough pieces of DSP to make 8 of this design:

USE IT UP Picture Perfect Wanted To Say Tailor Made Tags

Two more bright birthday cards today! I used Picture Perfect Designer Series Paper (retired) and Tailor Made Tags Dies (retired). I had two tags already cut and in my box of pieces to use up later.

Colors: Basic White, Lemon Lime Twist

I die cut the greeting out of the middle of the DSP- it's hidden behind the tag! I thought that would be a fun way to make everything coordinate. The embellishments are  Iridescent Pastel Gems (retired).

USE IT UP Irresistible Blooms Pocket Thoughts Simply Said

One more card with a similar layout of strips of Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper (retired). I didn't include it with yesterday's cards because the die I used it on is the same one I used on the second card for today. It's from Irresistible Blooms Dies, which are on the Last Chance list right now for $7 instead of $35! If you don't have them, get them before they're gone!

Colors: Basic White, Mossy Meadow (stamped off so it's lighter)

Colors: Basic Black, Basic White, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Peach Pie, Pool Party, Shy Shamrock

This card uses a piece of Picture Perfect Designer Series Paper (retired). I colored each of the little circles on the die cut with Stampin' Blends.

USE IT UP Fancy Flora Pocket Thoughts With You In Mind

Today's cards have the same layout as yesterday's, but portrait instead of landscape.. The strips are Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper (retired) that are 3/4 x 5" and they are attached to a piece of Basic White that is 3 3/4 x 5".

Colors: Basic White, Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia
Iridescent Pastel Gems (retired)

Colors: Basic White, Lemon Lolly, Soft Sea Foam

The cupcake is fussy-cut, the white piece was die cut from Everyday Details Dies (retired). It made a border of small holes that worked perfectly for threading some retired Baker's Twine in.

USE IT UP Fancy Flora Happiest Day Simply Said

Yay! Computer problems fixed! My computer guy couldn't figure out why I was having the problems I was, so we ended up doing a total reset on it. Luckily I had this post completely written and ready to go once the pictures were fixed so I'm back!

Today I have three cards to share with you- all use the same layout with strips of Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper (retired). I used this paper for swap cards, so I made a bunch with the same layout and used different patterns from the DSP. That left me with lots of narrow strips and I decided it was time to use them up! All the pieces I added to them were found in my pieces and parts box, where I put things I have tried but ended up not using.

First up, a cute baby card! The rabbit was stamped with the Easter Bunny stamp set (retired) and punched with the coordinating Easter Bunny Punch (retired) but not colored, so I used Ivory and Neutral 1000 Stampin' Blends. The greeting is from Celebrating You (retired) and was stamped on a piece die cut with Stylish Shapes dies (still current!). The embellishments are Iridescent Pastel Gems (retired).

Colors: Basic Black, Basic White, Balmy Blue

Next, a pretty birthday card. The greeting is from Happiest Day (still current!) and the oval die cut is from Framed Florets (retired). I don't remember the name of the dots- they're almost clear.

Colors: Basic Gray, Basic White, Soft Sea Foam

Last is another birthday card. The oval die cut is from Stitched Shapes (retired), the blue piece is the new Modern Oval Punch, and the pink piece is cut with Wonderful Thoughts Dies (retired). The greeting is from Simply Said (still current!). Iridescent Pastel Gems (retired) add the finishing touch.

Colors: Basic Gray, Basic White, Balmy Blue, Petal Pink

All of the strips are 3/4 x 5" and they are attached to a piece of Basic White that is 3 3/4 x 5".

I'm Having Computer Issues...

I'm having some computer issues that aren't allowing me to add pictures, so I'll be taking a break from blogging until I can get it figured out. It's hard to share projects with you without pictures!

USE IT UP Wanted To Say Fancy Flora

Once I had used up what I had for "background layers" in my pieces and parts, it was time to go through some Designer Series Paper and see what I could make work. I had this die cut piece from Framed Florets Dies (retired) in Night Of Navy, so I found a piece of Fancy Flora (retired) that it would go with. Did you see the little birds towards the bottom? I don't remember which die they are from, but they were already cut and waiting to be used, too!

Colors: Calypso Coral, Night Of Navy, Pool Party
The Adhesive Sheets are a must for these small dies! They make it so much easier to attach than trying to use even liquid glue. Just peel the backing off one side, attach to your cardstock, and run it through with a die like normal. Then you just peel off the backing off and it's like a sticker!

USE IT UP Enduring Beauty Split Card Textures Dies

The two cards I'm sharing today are both made with die cut pieces I had cut with the Split Card Textures Dies (retired) and didn't use. Time to make them into cards!

Colors: Basic White, Crumb Cake, gold
I don't remember which die I used to cut the gold foil. The embellishments are Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls (retired).

Colors: Basic White, Balmy Blue, Smoky Slate, silver, Soft Sea Foam

Which color do you like better?
